  Heartstrings Columnist ~ Angie Maldonado

Angie Maldonado is a home schooling mom of two girls (ages 5 and 7) and an Army wife. She and her family currently reside in Fort Benning, Georgia.  Her greatest goal in life is to leave a remarkable spiritual legacy to her two girls and to see them mature with hearts to serve the Lord.  She enjoys crafting, decorating, reading, and of course, writing.  Angie has experience the renovating power of the Lord at work in her marriage, and considers it a great blessing to use what she has learned to help build other women in their faith.  She is working on her first book dedicated to encouraging women to let their lights shine for the Lord Jesus.

A mother of four, Paula Moldenhauer is passionate about God's grace and intimacy with Jesus. She is published in magazines, book compilations, and devotionals and enjoys public speaking. Homeschool mom Ginia Dible enjoys using her creativity in parenting, writing, and schooling her three children.  She also enjoys reading and seeks to help elementary children to enjoy reading, too, with personalized novels and tips for parents on encouraging their children to read.

I am a single mom to a 13 year-old daughter, Marissa and a 12 year old son ,John.  We live in Douglasville, GA.  I work in a Finance Department.  I am a Freelance Airbrush Make up artist, and an Outreach Girl Scout Troop Leader.  I have a Masters in Pastoral Psychology, and am working toward my Certification as an Addiction Counselor.

Lisa Dalton is a home school mom who has been blessed with a wonderful husband and 3 beautiful girls (ages 20, 18 and 8), who are teaching her more than she will ever teach them.   Treasure Box Devotionals ~ Trayc Foskett

Trayc (yes, it's spelled funny! She's "not your average Tracy!") lives in Vancouver (not BC), WA (not DC) with her online sweetheart of 9 years and their two boys, Caleb age 6 and Micah age 4 ~ along with a very fuzzy Pomeranian named Dakota and a big black, equally fuzzy cat named Ebony.  Originally from South Dakota, Trayc attributes her love for God's Word to her own Mom who would get up before the rest of the family and spend at least 1 1/2 - 2 hours each morning studying The Word and praying for her family members.  Her Mom would journal her prayers each morning, and when Trayc would sneak a peek at her journal and see that she had been prayed for it brought an undeniable peace and sense of belonging to her.  This legacy of learning, desire to know God more and then opportunity to live it out in her own life is what drives Trayc to be the Mom God has made her to be.

Amy McCormick is a single mom to her spunky 5-year-old daughter.  They live in Long Island, NY, where they enjoy swimming, scrapbooking, reading, and watching Eloise movies together.  Amy has been a special education teacher for 11 years in both Maryland and New York.  She aspires to be a writer and has penned a children's book and some single parenting literature, but it is yet to be discovered!  :)

Edie Bunch is a military wife of 10 years who currently lives in Fort Benning, Georgia, with her husband and their two girls, ages 8 and 4.  She is a registered pharmacist who has chosen to stay at home with her children (although she is rarely at home a lot of days in her many roles of motherhood!).  Born and raised in North Carolina, Edie cherishes the southern hospitality and traditions passed down from her mother and grandmother, and strives to instill the same values in her girls.  God has given Edie and her family a unique calling to practice Christian hospitality in the military and many wonderful opportunities to regularly open their hearts and home to encourage soldiers and families around them.
