  Meet Your Authors:

Dionna Sanchez ~ Dionna Sanchez has been a born-again Christian since the age of 5. She has been blessed to see God use her through her writing at the Emphasis On Moms Ministry. Dionna has always had a heart to help others and impact their lives for the Lord.  She is continuing to learn daily how to lay down her pride and follow the Lord, as she realizes that His ways are always better than her own. Dionna is the mom to two young girls, step mom of an adult son, and proud mother-in-law.

Dionna loves Proverbs 16:9 "In his (or her) heart a man plans his course, but the Lord determines His steps" as well as Jeremiah 29:11, "' For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, ' plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'"

Elizabeth Marks ~ Elizabeth Marks, author of ThinkOnIt Devotions, was born and raised in Southern California.  After being married for 10 years with a five year old son, her and her husband were on the brink of divorce in late 1999.  During that dark time, they both came to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior through Saddleback Church's Celebrate Recovery program.  Now filled with God's love, their hearts are renewed, their marriage restored and they were blessed with a second son in 2004!  Elizabeth and husband, Steve, have celebrated 18+years of marriage as of 2007.  Grateful for God's second chance, Elizabeth has a heart full of passion for encouraging people with God's words.  Need some hope? Come visit http://www.ThinkOnItDevotions.com today for devotions, book recommendations, bible studies, helpful links, and more.

Elizabeth's favorite two verses are Philippians 3:9 NLT "I no longer count on my own righteousness through obeying the law; rather, I become righteous through faith in Christ. For God's way of making us right with himself depends on faith" and Galatians 2:20 NLT "My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me.  So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."

Joyce Schneider ~ Inspirational author Joyce Schneider grew up in a Christian home, but never understood what it meant to have a real relationship with Jesus.  It was all about rules and regulations and she never felt like she could be good enough for God, so she spent the majority or her life, running from Him.

At age 40, she realized that a personal relationship with a loving God was the emptiness that she'd been trying to fill with all the wrong things and she turned around and ran straight into His arms.  And her life has not been the same since.  A wife and mother of two, living in Naples, Florida, Joyce keeps busy speaking to various women's groups and has published three books; sharing her message of healing and hope with Jesus, through the hills and valleys of a real life woman, wife and mother.

Joyce's favorite Bible verse (for today) is: Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it.  But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. (Phillippians 3:13,14)

Kristine K. Lowder ~ A native San Diegan, Kristine K. Lowder was raised in a Christian home and said "Yes" to the Lord Jesus Christ at age seven, following a Sunday school lesson on Easter.  She dedicated her life to Christ as a teenager at Hume Lake Christan Camp in 1 975.  Kristine is a graduate of Biola University and a veteran homeschooler of four sons.

The author of nine books, Kristine's byline has appeared in numerous print and online publications including Long Story Short, Whatever is Pure,Penwomanship, Hearts at Home, and Whispers of Inspiration.  Her favorite verse is "Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord Almighty."  (Zechariah 4:6b)  Like Olympic sprinter Eric Liddel in the 1981 movie Chariots of Fire, Kristine's chief writing goal is: "To know and reflect His pleasure."  Visit her site at: http://hEvencense.wordpress .com

Patrice Fagnant-MacArthur ~ Patrice Fagnant-MacArthur has a Master of Arts Degree in Applied Theology. She is editor of "Spiritual Woman" and is married with two young sons.

Patrice is Catholic and was baptized at birth but can honestly say she has had a personal relationship with Jesus since she was seven. Lately the verse "Could you not keep watch with me for one hour?" (Matthew 26:40) has been resonating with her because she has had to do nightly vigils sitting outside her sons' rooms to have them fall asleep.

Donna Shepherd ~ Children's author and inspirational writer, Donna J. Shepherd looks at everyday life and finds God's fingerprints everywhere. Donna's writing touches the heart with wisdom and humor while feeding the mind with daily portions of God's Word.

Since becoming a  Christian at the age of nine, Donna has loved God with all of her heart.  One of her favorite Bible verses is from the book of Jeremiah,"But if I say I'll never mention the Lord or speak in His name, His word burns in my heart like a fire.  It's like a fire in my bones! I am worn out trying to hold it in! I can't do it! (Jeremiah 20:9 NLT)

Donna is currently a columnist for the Dabbling Mum and NABBW. Donna's children's book, Topsy Turvy Land (Hidden Pictures Publishing, July 2005) has been described by one reviewer as "a perfect read for young children... a world full of bright hearts, where it isn't difficult to find God's love." She asked Jesus into her heart at the tender age of nine and loves to share what God has done in her life.  Her writing has appeared in various online and offline publications, including You!, Christian Home and School and Writer's Digest.

Her favorite scripture verse is Jeremiah 29:11: "For I know the plans I have  for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you, and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."   You can visit her at:  http://www.annaigaillynes.net

Kathie M. Thomas ~ Kathie M. Thomas first accepted Christ as her Savior at the age of 14, during a Christian concert in high school, although she'd been attending church from a very young age.  She has been writing and getting published in magazines and newspapers since her teens and began submitting articles to Christian publications in her twenties, when her children were young.  Life being what it is, she had to return to work for a number of years but eventually returned home to run her own business and be there for her five daughters.  She spent a number of years writing for business publications and has self-published 4 business 'how to' books.  Kathie discovered blogging in 2005 and took it up seriously in 2006 with one blog dedicated to the Proverbs 31 Woman at proverbs31-woman.com.  Late 2006 she discovered Faithwriters.com and has since begun writing for Christian publications.

Kathie's favorite scriptures are Phil. 4:13, "I can do all things through Him who strengthens me." and Proverbs 31:25, "She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come."

Lynn Mosher ~Lynn's favorite verse is "Did I not tell you and promise you that if you would believe and rely on Me, you would see the glory of God?" John 11:40 AMP.

Born and raised in a Christian home in Kentucky, Lynn Mosher became a believer at the age of 11.  Years later, after many of life's trials, she committed her life to the Lord.

Since the year 2000, Lynn has lived with fibromyalgia and other physical conditions.  During this time the Lord placed the desier in her heart to write for Him.  Now armed with God's purpose for her life and a new passion, she is enabled to reach out to others to encourage and comfort them through her writing, giving God all the glory.

She lives with her husband in their empty next in Kentucky. On occasion, the three offspring, who have flown the coop, come to visit, accompanied by a lovable son-in-law, and a very precocious granddaughter, who constantly says Lynn needs a pet.  www.lynnmosher.blogspot.com
